Prof. Chin-Chen Chang

Feng Chia University,Taiwan (IEEE Fellow and CS Fellow)

Experience: 

Professor Chang has worked on many different topics in information security, cryptography, multimedia image processing and published several hundreds of papers in international conferences and journals and over 30 books. He was cited over 38,600 times and has an h-factor of 91 according to Google Scholar. Several well-known concepts and algorithms were adopted in textbooks. He also worked with the National Science Council, Ministry of Technology, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Economic Affairs and other Government agencies on more than 100 projects and holds 17 patents, including one in US and two in China. He served as Honorary Professor, Consulting Professor, Distinguished Professor, Guest Professor at over 50 academic institutions and received Distinguished Alumni Award's from his Alma Master's. He also served as Editor or Chair of several international journals and conferences and had given almost a thousand invited talks at institutions including Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academia Sinica, Tokyo University, Kyoto University, National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, The University of Hong Kong, National Taiwan University and Peking University. Professor Chang has mentored 63 PhD students and 195 master students, most of whom hold academic positions at major national or international universities. He has been the Editor-in-Chief of Information Education, a magazine that aims at providing educational materials for middle-school teachers in computer science. He is a leader in the field of information security of Taiwan. He founded the Chinese Cryptography and Information Security Association, accelerating information security the application and development and consulting on the government policy. He is also the recipient of several awards, including the Top Citation Award from Pattern Recognition Letters, Outstanding Scholar Award from Journal of Systems and Software, and Ten Outstanding Young Men Award of Taiwan. He was elected as a Fellow of IEEE and IET in 1998, a Fellow of CS in 2020, and an AAIA Fellow in 2021 for his contribution in the area of information security.

Prof. Yingxu Wang

University of Calgary, Canada,  FIEEE, FBCS, FI2CICC, FAAIA, and FWIF

Experience: 

Dr. Yingxu Wang is professor of cognitive systems, brain science, software science, and intelligent mathematics. He is the founding President of International Institute of Cognitive Informatics and Cognitive Computing (I2CICC).  He is FIEEE, FBCS, FI2CICC, FAAIA, and FWIF. He has held visiting professor positions at Univ. of Oxford (1995, 2018-2022), Stanford Univ. (2008, 2016), UC Berkeley (2008), MIT (2012), and a distinguished visiting professor at Tsinghua Univ. (2019-2022). He received a PhD in Computer Science from the Nottingham Trent University, UK, in 1998 and has been a full professor since 1994. He is the founder and steering committee chair of IEEE Int’l Conference Series on Cognitive Informatics and Cognitive Computing (ICCI*CC) since 2002. He is founding Editor-in-Chiefs and Associate Editors of 10+ Int’l Journals and IEEE Transactions. He is Chair of IEEE SMCS TC-BCS on Brain-inspired Cognitive Systems, and Co-Chair of IEEE CS TC-CLS on Computational Life Science. His basic research has spanned across contemporary scientific disciplines of intelligence, mathematics, knowledge, robotics, computer, information, brain, cognition, software, data, systems, cybernetics, neurology, and linguistics. He has published 600+ peer reviewed papers and 38 books/proceedings. He has presented 66 invited keynote speeches in international conferences. He has served as honorary, general, and program chairs for 41 international conferences. He has led 10+ international, European, and Canadian research projects as PI. He is recognized by Google Scholar as world top 1 in Software Science, top 1 in Cognitive Robots, top 8 in Autonomous Systems, top 2 in Cognitive Computing, and top 1 in Knowledge Science with an h-index 62. He is recognized by ResearchGate as among the world’s top 1.0% scholars in general and in several contemporary fields encompassing artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, theoretical computer science, engineering mathematics, software engineering, cognitive science, information science, and computational linguistics, etc.

Prof. Smain Femmam

Université de Haute-Alsace, France

Experience: 

Dr. Smain Femmam was born in Branis, Algeria. He received the doctor degree d'Ingénieur en Electronique from National Institute of Electricity and Electronics of Algiers in June 1987 and the MS and Ph.D. degrees in Signal Processing and Computers from Versailles University France in 1997 and 1999 respectively, and since 2013 he is promoted to a rank of senior director of research (HDR) as Professor of Universities. He worked for the Algerian University in 1987. He held a post doctoral position at University of Paris6 and was a consultant to Ascor Company before joining the faculty of Electrical Engineering of IUT of Vélizy Communication and Network Department at Versailles University as an Assistant Professor in September 1998. He was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 2000, and to permanent Associate Professor in 2002 at the faculty of Electrical Engineering Communication and Network Department at Haute Alsace University. On September 1, 2004, he was appointed the Director of studies Chair, and endowed position in the College of Engineering Ecole Central de Paris. He was a partial time professor of advanced communication systems at Ecole Central de Paris since 1999. He is the first holder of this Endowed research Chair. He was also the founder and co-Director of the Laboratoire d’Analyse et de Contr?le des Systèmes Complexes LACSC Paris until 2009.

Prof. & Dr. Aditi Sharma

Nazarbayev University Kazakhstan

Experience: 

Aditi Sharma, Ph.D (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech. degree in Computer Science and engineering from Mody Institute of Technology and Science, Lakshmangarh, India in 2008 and also qualified GATE in 2008. She received her Ph.D. degree from MBM Engineering College, JNVU, India in Computer Science and Engineering in 2018. She is currently working as Post Doctoral Fellow in School of Engineering and Digital Sciences at Nazarbayev University Kazakhstan in the area of Intelligent Cryptosystems, IOT and cloud in Robotics. She is designated as Associate Professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Institute Coordinator, Patents and Publications at Parul University, Vadodara. Prior to that she has worked as Associate Professor in ITM Vocational University Vadodara and Quantum University Roorkee, Uttarakhand. Her overall experience is almost 14 years. She has published 36 research papers in international journals SCI, ESCI, Scopus and national/international conferences and authored four books. She has published six patents and also having 19 patents grant in her credit. Her research area includes Cryptography, Block chaining, VLSI, Cellular Automata, Machine Learning, AI chatbots, IOT, Medical imaging in Robotics and artificial intelligence. She is the Life Member of Professional Bodies such as Cryptology Society of India, IEANG and N2women society. She is serving as Conference Chair, General Chair, Technical Programme Committee (TPC) Member and a Reviewer in various Springer, IEEE international conferences, CSNT 2022, DASA'22, IAICT'2022, AIARS 2022, ISI 2022, ICCAIS 2021, ICDSIE- 2020, IAPCS 2020, ICSELM 2017, INAIT 2019, Global Open Online Conference System, WCI'18 and many more. She was invited for invited speaker/ Resource Person in TEQIP III Faculty Development Programs and in International conferences such as ICASTEM-2020. She achieved many awards and scholarships including Nav Shakti Award by North Eastern Council, Ministry of DoNER, Government of India.Parvati-Chanda Devi and Gargi scholarships and Awards from Madan Lal Khurana, Sunil Dutt, APJ Abdul Kalam. She also got Best Teacher Award by Rajasthan Patrika Group.
